Meet Frank
Compliance file review, powered by AI
Every advice file your firm writes, read end to end and checked against the FCA rules that apply to that case. Frank sends back a graded review with the remedial actions written out in the order they should be dealt with.
One financial advice file in three has something wrong with it
33 of 100
The files nobody reads are the ones your SMF16 is personally accountable for. The FCA has concluded that up to a third of financial advice files carried suitability concerns or material information gaps.
FCA Thematic Review TR24/1, 2024.
A file takes three to four hours or more to review properly by hand, across 40 or more documents. 77% of advisers already say compliance work limits the time they can spend advising clients. So most files are never opened.
Sent out for review, one file comes back at £150 to £250. An in-house compliance officer is around £45,000 a year. Frank does it for about £2.25 on the Enterprise plan.
The 77% is from the Rathbones adviser study, 2025.
Frank reads the whole file, every time
Frank is the AI compliance reviewer inside IntegrityAI. Give him up to a hundred documents, scans included. He reads all of them before writing anything.
Upload the file the way you already keep it. PDFs and scans, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, text files, photos from a phone, and emails saved from Outlook or other mail programs. Frank opens the attachments inside an email.
Frank proposes, your reviewer decides. Every finding comes with a proposed grade and the rule behind it. Keep it, change it, move it to notes or set it aside. The review completes only when a named person signs it off.
Frank signs nothing off, deliberately. Read what the Mills Review means for compliance file checking.
Frank
AI compliance reviewer
Online
- Reads PDFs and scans, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and photos, plus Outlook emails with their attachments and ZIP folders
- Checks the rules that apply to the case (COBS, MCOB or ICOBS) and all four Consumer Duty outcomes
- Identifies gaps and writes prioritised remedial actions
- Returns the graded review on screen and as a Word or PDF document, plus a completed DBAAT on a DB transfer case
What Frank reviews
Frank works out from the documents which products a file covers, then applies the checks written for each one.
- Pensions
- Pension switches and consolidations, drawdown and annuity purchase, against COBS.
- DB transfers
- Defined benefit transfers, through DB Deep Review, which also returns the FCA’s DBAAT workbook completed.
- Investments
- Investments, ISAs, general investment accounts (GIAs), onshore bonds, offshore bonds, EIS and VCT, against COBS.
- Protection
- Protection advice, against ICOBS, including the demands and needs statement.
- Mortgages
- Regulated mortgages, and lifetime mortgages for equity release, against MCOB.
- Several at once
- A file that covers more than one product, such as a mortgage with protection, gets every product’s checks in full, with the findings kept separate by product.
From upload to sign-off in three steps
No configuration, no template and nothing to train. Put the documents in and Frank does the rest.
DB Deep Review is an optional add-on, bought separately
A DB transfer file carries more risk than anything else an adviser writes, so DB Deep Review goes further than a file review: it answers the FCA’s own Defined Benefit Advice Assessment Tool and hands the workbook back completed. A DB review never draws on your Frank file allowance, and a Frank review never draws on your DB allowance.
i
A DBAAT that arrives filled in
Frank answers the FCA’s Defined Benefit Advice Assessment Tool, including the thirteen examples of unsuitability it sets for a pension transfer, and returns the workbook with the report: assessment answers and assessor ratings completed, the tool’s own FCA formulas producing the suggested rating beside each one. The QA column is deliberately left blank: that second line, and the sign-off, are your reviewer’s.
ii
Judged on the date the advice was given
Historic cases are assessed against the rules that applied on their own advice date, not today’s. The FCA tells firms to use the DBAAT to assess their past advice, and this is what makes going back through a back book worth doing.
iii
You still get the standard file review
Every DB Deep Review returns the normal graded file review as well, in Word or as a PDF, so a DB case is not a different kind of output to file.
From £99 a month for five reviews, on top of any Frank plan. A whole back book goes through as a one-off sprint instead, from £750 for 100 files.

Priced per firm, not per adviser
One monthly fee covers the firm, as many advisers and reviewers as you like. Every plan reviews the same products, from pensions to lifetime mortgages, and only the number of files changes between plans. DB transfers are the add-on below.
Free trial: 14 days, no card or bank details, with up to 10 file reviews and 10 DB Deep Reviews. Choose a plan in the app whenever you are ready and pay monthly by Direct Debit. Questions about Frank, pricing, onboarding or how your firm would use it, email us and we will come back to you. If it would help to see it on a real case, we can run a sample review for you and go through the findings. You can also just start the trial, which needs no conversation with us at all.
